Mr. Bai Yanlei (°1970), graduated from Lanzhou University in 1996. Immediately after, he started to work for Beijing Jiaotong University, where he is still lecturing. Since 2004 he has also been teaching at Xinjiang Polytechnic. From 2005 to 2009 Bai Yanlei combined his teaching assignment with a function as first secretary at the Chinese Embassy in Singapore.
He has been appointed co-director of the Confucius Institute at Group T for a period of two years.
