Confucius Institute Scholarschip

The Confucius Institute Scholarship Program offers students and teachers of Chinese the opportunity to stay in China on a scholarship. They can either study, or do research into the Chinese language and culture. The program was developed by the Confucius Institute Headquarters, better known as Hanban. You can apply via the Confucius Institute (CI) at Group T.

Who can apply?

To be eligible for the Confucius Institute Scholarship Program via the CI at Group T, you have to:

  • be able to prove that you have experience with the Chinese language
  • be a student, staff member, or alumni of Group T-International University College Leuven or ACE-Group T

How do you apply?

You hand in a completed application file with the CI at Group T. Contact the institute for details on the content of this file and the kind of programs and research projects that are eligible for this scholarship.

Deadline

Hanban launches a campaign once a year. Applications for 2011 have to have reached the CI at Group T at the latest by March 31, 2011.
