Group T welcomed over 500 visitors during the 6th edition of the Open Company Day on Sunday, October 2, 2011.
The trainees of Leuven Engineering College turned Vesalius Campus into a true toy factory. Thanks to the help of Technological Education-students, plenty of visitors returned home with a personalized key chain.
The engineering students gave everyone a chance to enjoy the games they themselves designed and produced. While the smallest visitors were designing their own ghost and played an electronic version of Memory, the youngsters tied their fingers with the electronic finger twister, played Snake on a 3D-light cube, or tried to produce music with a digital banjo. Students from the 2-year master path convinced several people with their CORE-project, which tries to make the Leuven student lead a more sustainable life.
Rows quickly formed at the international students' buffet. There was Chinese wonton soup and an abundance of Thai sweets such as Tako, A Thai pudding, and Tahi Khanom Krok, Thai coconut pancakes. The afternoon was closed off with traditionally brewed Ethiopian coffee.
