In Mapping Study on Teachers Preparation for Entrepreneurship Education, Group T-Leuven Education College's teacher training program gets the label 'best practice'. The recently published European Commission report describes how the theme of so-called 'enterprising education' is approached by several teacher training programs.
Group T's approach is described as 'horizontal', i.e. teacher trainees have to work in projects from the outset. Enterprising skills are present throughout the curriculum, not just within a single module. The case study about Leuven Education College concludes by saying that "teachers and staff are granted the same space to develop their personal creativity and work in accordance with their individual mission as they are supposed to teach their students".
The EU study attempts to get a first impression on the level and type of activities (modules, methods, projects, and courses) that train and prepare teacher trainees for entrepreneurship education in teacher education institutions. These activities may then serve as inspiration for other institutions across Europe.
