Science Week

The 2008 Science Week kicks off with the Science Party in Mechelen opening its doors to the general public—and particularly families—on Sunday, October 19, 2008. The science quiz will be conducted in Dutch, but the other activities are not language-dependent.

What to expect? The Group T-stand offers you a chance to construct your own creation by measuring, cutting, sawing, drilling, bending, and mounting. You can of course take your design home with you afterwards. This is also your chance to see the Umicar Infinity, the Solar Team's solar-driven race car which competed in the 2008 World Solar Challenge.
