Group T organizes the following academic bachelor programs:

  • Bachelor of Science in Industrial Sciences: Electromechanical Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science in Industrial Sciences: Electronics Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science in Industrial Sciences: Chemical Engineering, option Chemical Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science in Industrial Sciences: Chemical Engineering, option Biochemical Engineering

In principle, each bachelor program is a three-year long program (standard track) totaling 180 credits and comprising:

  • a joint part common to all four academic bachelor's programs at Group T
  • a specific part concentrating on the selected major

First program stage: joint

The joint part offers general scientific and technological training in the four basic sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics) and their corresponding technological areas (Energy, Matter, Life, and Information).

The basic competences in the field of Enterprising, Educating, Environmenting, and Ensembling are also included. During the Engineering Experiences you get a chance to integrate the knowledge and competences you have acquired. These form the run-up to the bachelor 's thesis in the third program stage.

Second program stage: orientation

In the second program stage, you make your first focused choice as a run-up to your choice of studies in the third program stage: will you take the orientation in Electromechanical & Electronics Engineering, or would you prefer the Chemical & Biochemical Engineering one?

Third program stage: major

In the third program stage you again make a choice: Electromechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering with an option in Chemical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering with an option in Biochemical Engineering.

In the fifth and sixth semesters, you delve more deeply into specific technological fields, which will depend on your major. For the Bachelor in Electromechanical Engineering these are initially energy and information; the Bachelor in Electronics Engineering is chiefly concerned with information technology; the Bachelor in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering focuses on matter and life technology.

The joint program for Enterprising, Educating, Environmenting and Ensembling continues concurrently with these courses of study.
