Building Blocks

The concept of the 5E-engineer translates into three building blocks for the engineering program:

At the core of each bachelor program stage are the Engineering Experiences. Students carry out open-ended tasks in which they are challenged to consider every aspect of the 5E-engineer.

The necessary basic technological knowledge is introduced in the Engineering Content through course units from all fields of technology and science. In addition, every year attention is paid to specific management and communication techniques.

Throughout the bachelor program, students become acquainted with the 5E-Context through lectures and workshops, and through tasks which deal with the five dimensions of Environmenting, Engineering, Enterprising, Educating, and Ensembling.
